MEET OUR TEAM

The Youth Ministries Rep/Lead Team exist to assist the Youth Ministries Director in caring for, equipping and serving those who lead and/or help give leadership to Youth Ministries in our local churches across the EOD of the PAOC.

  • Jeremy Albrecht

    DIRECTOR

    Jeremy is a child of God, husband to Melissa, and father to Jake, Lydia and Sophie. In the summer of 2015 Jeremy transitioned from his role as Lead Student Ministries Pastor at Woodvale Church in Ottawa to join the Eastern Ontario District office as the Youth and Specialized Ministry Director. He is a committed Toronto Maple Leaf fan and bleeds blue and white. Besides hockey, hanging with his fam and the odd home reno project his other passion is pursuing his dream to write a book one day entitled, "101 Ways to Cook Ground Beef". But his greatest passion after God and his family is to raise up a generation of leaders who listen for God and do what He says! Jeremy and his family now reside in Peterborough, ON.

  • Ashley Livingston

    NEXT GEN EVENT FACILITATOR

    Ashley graduated with a Bachelor of Theology from Master’s College & Seminary in 2013 and currently serves as the Next Gen Event Facilitator and Administrative Assistant to the Ministries at the Eastern Ontario District Office. Ashley has a heart for youth and considers it a privilege to help plan conventions, conferences and camps where youth can have amazing encounters with God just like she did as a teen. She loves travelling, home decorating, shopping  and hanging out with friends. Ashley and her husband Matt reside in Cobourg, ON.

  • Geoff Heeg

    CAPITAL

    Geoff has pastored in youth ministry for 15 years. Born and raised in Peterborough, ON Geoff has been in the EOD for the last 5 years after ministering in Waterloo, ON. Currently he provides leadership for all generational ministry at Lifecentre’s multi-campus church where he attends with his wife Ingrid and 6 kids. He’s a life-long Leafs fan and third wave coffee snob.

  • Andrew Jones

    LAKESHORE

    Andrew Jones was born and raised in Scarborough, Ontario. From a young age he felt the call of God on his life for Christian ministry. He attended Eastern Pentecostal Bible College (now known as Master’s College and Seminary), where he completed a Bachelor of Theology degree. He has pastored in a couple of churches in the GTA (for 18 years), prior to joining the CLC pastoral staff. Andrew is a big sports fan (especially the NY Giants) and enjoys playing sports as well! He is most passionate about worship, and seeing people come together to worship God with one voice and sound. Andrew and his beautiful wife Laura have three school aged children named Ethan, Elijah and Hannah. His family is his pride and joy!

  • Drew Campbell

    LANARK SEAWAY

    Drew serves as the Assistant Pastor at Bethel Pentecostal Church in Smiths Falls, Ontario. He began working at Bethel in June 2015, and oversees the Youth and Children’s Ministries. He enjoys helping young people take small steps of faith to bring them closer to becoming mature followers of Jesus. Drew went to Horizon College and Seminary in Saskatoon and has a B.A. in Pastoral Ministries. He spent 6 years working as a chaplain at the University of Saskatchewan. Drew is married to Heather and has two young children, Isaac and Maggie. He enjoys coaching football at the local high-school.

  • John Riley

    KAWARTHA

    John currently serves as the Student Ministries Pastor at Calvary Church in Peterborough, ON. He loves building relationships with teenagers and young adults in the church and the community. He has been married to his wife Melissa for 12 years and they have 2 boys. Besides all that, he has a passion for the Toronto Maple Leafs, the CFL, coaching his son's football team and of course Coke Zero.

  • Sarah Redner

    OTTAWA VALLEY

    Sarah felt called to youth ministry at the age of 13, and she pursued that calling by studying a Bachelor of Theology focused in Youth Ministry at MCS. Currently working as the student ministries pastor at Cobden Pentecostal Church, Sarah has called the Ottawa Valley and CPC her home since she was eleven years old. Her and her husband Jacob are both from the area and are excited for new opportunities to serve and connect with the families in Cobden and the surrounding communities. Sarah enjoys spending time with friends and family, artistic projects, and every cup of coffee she can get her hands on.

  • Bryan Hempstead

    QUINTE RIDEAU

    Bryan serves at City Christian Centre in Kingston as a youth pastor, he has been faithfully serving there since March 2015. In August 2015, Bryan married his wife Katrina and the two of them love to see students grow in their faith with God and walk it out. He loves all things camp, summer, sports, and loves family time! Also he LOVES dogs!

  • Steffan Watson

    TORONTO NORTH

    Steffan Watson was born and raised in Scarborough, Ontario. At the age of 6 he felt the call to go into ministry. Steffan loves hanging out with students and learning new lingo from them so he can stay hip and relevant. Steffan is married to Jaime and together they serve as the Youth and Young Adult Pastor at Stouffville Pentecostal Church. They have been married for 3 years and have no kids, but they do have a pet rabbit named Oreo. In his spare time Steffan loves reading and cheering for the San Antonio Spurs. Steffan's passion is to see students connect in an authentic relationship with Christ so that they can change their schools and their towns.

  • Ebanesar Gnanendran

    MEMBER AT LARGE

    Eban has been a long standing member of the Church of the Living God in Ajax, and has been serving as the Youth Pastor at the church for just over 2 years. Eban loves working with Youth and seeing them passionately surrender their lives to God and live in the power and presence of the Spirit. Eban also leads and mentors the worship teams and its members at the Church of the Living God. During his spare time Eban enjoys hanging out with friends, and as a drummer, guitarist and vocalist, enjoys making music with other Christian bands and musicians. He plays volleyball whenever he can and his favourite food group is meat!

  • Mark Goring

    MEMBER AT LARGE

    Mark is the Assistant Pastor at Church in the City and the Church in Regent Park. He enjoys spending time with his wife Kimberley and his three children and is a devoted and loyal fan of a number of under-achieving sports franchises (who will continue to remain anonymous). In 15 years of ministry in a number of different contexts, to a wide variety of ages and cultures, his ministry has been marked by a willingness to serve, compassion for others and faith to attempt God-directed ideas.

  • Mitch Pitt

    MEMBER AT LARGE

    Mitch graduated from Masters College and Seminary in 2011 and jumped right into full time ministry at Bethel Pentecostal Church in Ottawa; where he has served as the StudentMin Pastor for 5 years. He has been married for 8 years and has 2 young sons. One of the key things he has learned so far is that those after God's heart tend to find it, no matter the obstacles that are thrown in the way. He is also super excited to watch the Leafs ex-captain in his first full season with the Ottawa Senators, its just so much fun listening to Sens fans talk him up.
