HOW DO STUDENTS REGISTER?
This will now be done by the student pastor/leader, so students will now register through their student ministry and not the camp.
CAN STUDENTS STILL ATTEND CALIBRATE IF THEY DON'T ATTEND A PAOC CHURCH OR HAVE A STUDENT PASTOR?
Of course! Everyone is welcome to attend Calibrate Jr. High. If a student finds themselves in this situation please contact us and we will do our best to direct them to the closest local church or one they have a relationship with to register with that group.
HOW DOES A STUDENT PASTOR REGISTER A GROUP?
Similar to our other EOD Youth Channel events, once the student pastor/leader has their registration list, they will then go online to our district website and register their group along with their leaders.
WHEN IS CALIBRATE?
July 21 - 24, 2022
WHAT DOES THE SCHEDULE LOOK LIKE?
The length of camp has been shortened but students will still experience many of the same activities. Students will participate in encounters, group devotions, sports, late night and more. Some of the activities will happen in student ministry groups but other components will be in mixed team with campers from other churches.
WHY IS THE SCHEDULE SHORTER?
Due to the impact of Covid-19 we believe a weekend model is more attainable during this season of uncertainty. We also believe the weekend model creates more opportunities for student ministry leaders to get time off from work to invest in students.
DO STUDENT PASTORS HAVE TO PROVIDE THEIR OWN LEADERS?
Yes. Each youth ministry is responsible for providing their own screened leaders.
DO STUDENT PASTORS/MAIN LEADERS HAVE TO REGISTER?
Yes, we do need the student pastor/leader to register but there is no registration fee for the student pastor/leader.
HOW MUCH DOES CALIBRATE COST?
Student Pastor's will set the final registration cost for their students/leaders which should include the registration fee, accommodations and transportation (if applicable). More details about costs below.
