CALIBRATE OVPC & LPC

Were you planning on joining us for Calibrate OVPC or Calibrate LPC (previously Youth Camp)? Though we can't meet onsite, we have something exciting lined up for you. Whether you usually go to OVPC or LPC, we have ONE joined event that will be available for you - Calibrate Digital! Host a watch party of a one hour digital, bite-sized experience of Calibrate! The online event will launch on YouTube on August 6th, but you can watch it whenever you want! Students - contact your Youth Pastor for details!


Here is how it works:

1 - Youth Pastors plan & promote a watch party with their students

2 - Grab the event link for our YouTube page

3 - Tune in with your students and host your own event (whether that is online or onsite following restrictions)

4 - Post a pic of how your group chose to party, tag @eodstumin and use the hashtag #calibrate20


Within the one hour there will be three 5-minute breakouts from some incredible guests (check them out below!), one power message from Laura Fess and a late night experience ft. Pastor Mitch & Pastor Steffan. We are SUPER excited to see how you and your students tune in for Calibrate LPC & OVPC!

  • Laura Fess

    GUEST SPEAKER

    Laura Fess has been in ministry for the last decade: first as a volunteer and then as a youth pastor, children’s pastor, and assistant campus pastor. After ministering in both Canada and the USA, she has now transitioned to working in Ontario at private practice as a registered social worker/psychotherapist. She has her advanced diploma in Child and Youth Work, a Bachelor’s in Social Work, and a Master’s in Social Work. Laura is passionate about seeing young people experience freedom in Christ, and has a unique approach to working with teenagers. She has been married to her husband Mike for 12 years, and together they have the honour of raising their daughter and son. 

  • Kathleen VanEngen

    BREAKOUT GUEST

    Kathleen is an assistant pastor at Calvary Church in Peterborough, the director of Tattered Tiaras, and a certified mental health first aid instructor. Kathleen has lived with a mental health disorder for several years which has made her a passionate advocate for eliminating stigma within the Christian community and beyond.

  • Sandra MacIntosh

    Sandra is the young adult Pastor at Bethel Ottawa and says young adults are her people. She's had over 20 years of experience working with YAs, starting young adult ministries, founding and directing a internship training school in Bangkok Thailand for young adults and worked for 5 years with victims of Human Trafficking. She continues to work with women in the sex industry in Ottawa with 2 outreach teams at Bethel. She loves to see God's people live their lives with passion. She loves to worship, preach and encourage but thrives on taking the Treasure outside the walls.
